AKG D-12

The AKG D12 is a dynamic microphone with a cardioid characteristic and a built-in "bass resonance chamber" in the microphone head, which is designed to amplify low frequencies between 50-200 Hz.

It also has a built-in shock mount that isolates the dynamic coil/capsule from the rest of the microphone and the surface. Thanks to these features - as well as its ability to handle very high sound pressure levels without distortion.
