The OC818 is a multi-characteristic condenser microphone that embodies a balance between tradition and future. With its handcrafted CKR12 ceramic capsule – a modern interpretation of the legendary CK12 – the microphone delivers detail, nuance and clarity, while handling very high sound pressure levels (SPL) without compromise.

Wireless control

The OC818 is the first analog microphone with wireless control. By adding the optional OCR8 transmitter/receiver system (not included), you gain access to a range of advanced features directly from your mobile phone – adjust directivity, attenuation and high-pass filter in real time via the PolarPilot app – all from the control room, without leaving the location.
