In 2020, SLX-D Wireless was introduced during a unique time for the music industry. Despite this, it quickly gained recognition and adoption as the natural replacement for its long-standing predecessor, SLX. SLX-D is also an excellent choice for a wide range of mid-level wireless applications, including live performances, presentations, education, theater, and event planning.
With a broad range of components, configurations, and microphone options, SLX-D has become the natural choice for small to medium-sized venues and installations. Shure has continued to invest in the SLX-D platform by integrating it into the industry-standard Wireless Workbench in 2021 and introducing award-winning portable receivers, transmitters, and system configurations in 2024.
Launched as a standalone receiver component, available in standard (SLXD4Q+) and Dante-compatible (SLXD4QDAN+) versions, the SLX-D Quad Receiver provides an exciting glimpse into the future of Shure's mid-level wireless solutions.
